J&C

Founded in Taiwan in 2015, J&C FILM STUDIO is an independent motion picture company working across narrative features, public-interest campaigns, cultural documentation and brand storytelling.

We study how a generation sees an issue, move closer to the individual living inside it, and turn the question until a different angle appears. Not to provide a fixed answer, but to let an audience recognise itself in a character's choice.

From AFTERGLOW to CHAOTIC JUSTICE and now URAKATA in Japan, J&C continues to build an original filmmaking practice across languages and borders.

THE WIND CAME FIRST.

The J&C mark is drawn from the path of the wind. In the studio’s first film, AFTERGLOW, wind was the force that moved both character and fate. That same wind gave shape to the name J&C and has remained within the work ever since.
